Grundfos MTH pumps must be disposed of according to local regulations by using a public or private waste collection service. If this is not possible, contact the nearest Grundfos company or service workshop.
Safety Risk
Safety related to materials used
- There is no risk for people during the disassembly process posed by the materials used in the product.
- Be sure that the pump is clean and empty for liquid before disassembly.
Safety related to handling the product
- Care should be taken when handling the pump/components due to the weight.
Disassembly of the Product
The main materials of the components are:
- Cast iron, stainless steel (plate, round bar and cast)
- EPDM/FKM rubber
The MTH pump can therefore be recycled to a large extend – depending on the national possibilities for recycling. To disassemble a MTH pump, standard tools can be used.
